Quick ? : What size bolt for dbl wall top ?
Need to bolt down. Anyone know bolt to use? Thread size? etc.

well i got some 7/16 from hardware store and they are tooooo big. Looks more like a 3/8, but I really hate the trial and error just to put some bolts in. I don't want to strip it by forcing the wrong size either. Its a double wall.

Did a search and only found this post that was related.
Anyone know what size bolts go up in to the DW top from the bed sides?

I archived following info from an earlier post:
All of the bolts for the hard top (double wall, not sure if there is a difference for single wall) are 5/16". The bolts for the bed rails are 2" long, and the 2 center windshield frame bolts are 1" long (maybe 1 1/2"). The bolts that go through the visor hangers are closer to 3" long but I'm not sure about their exact length. Do not know if it is correct, but it may help. ...Dan |
