The M22 tranny is that the 4 speed with grann gear? I have one of those on my 1-ton that I would be willing trade for for parts for my 1/2 ton. Need to have some help getting it out of the truck. Most of what I'm looking for is good sheet metal right now or a good SWB frame. Let me know if this is what you are looking for and what you have? Maybe we could work something out!

It is a car 4spd from muscle cars(4 on the floor)with a Hurst shifter.Swaps right in place when pulling a 3spd manual.

If you want to use a car trans then I would go with a Super T-10. I had an M-22 for awhile and did not like the first gear ratio. This trans was designed for road racing where quick take offs were not the issue but keeping a motor in a narrow power band was. The coolest thing about the Rockcrusher is the whine!

How much are those 6spds worth?I had my hands on an M22.I went in on a truck to get the trans.I lost out when my "partner" left town.I have no idea where the truck is and have no way to track him down.

partner
If you have his name you might be surprised how much info you can obtain just doing a google search and if you have even a clue where he went the local police dept usually will be of help if you can prove that he comitted a felony by taking your stuff if nothing else he might come around to your way of thinking as far as ownership of the parts go with the threat of legal action just my 2 cents Mike

Mothertruckers,I`m interested.Could you either post or pm some info? Thanks. As for as that M22 goes,my 1/2 was $100 and he keeps the rest of the truck for $100.He`s less than a zero, like vapor.I guess I could track him. He`s no fixed address, still has his MD licence/tags,no bank account...don`t know what part of FLA.he`s in.I`m alright,he left things worth more.Just want a 4-on-the-floor to get`er rollin`.

M-20
The M-20 is better suited for our trucks. It's the wide ratio version of the M-21/M-22. They also are getting scarce.....$$$$$$$$$$
