does anyone know? How hard is it to convert a metal floor bed into a wood floor bed and whrer could I get the parts?

This Guy has one, but I bet it's not cheap.

You can get the parts you need from GMC Paul's. You basically need, a new front of the bed and new rear of the baed that are made for the wood floors. You will also need the 3 center wood supports , these I believe can be bought from Mar-K.

I have a guy near me that was going to sell his long wood bed. Wood has rotted. The front, by the cab, I think was decent and then you have all of the supports. He may be willing to sell everything but the sides. Let me know if you want me to check with him.
