Made it home with the 500...my @ss hurts

650 miles, less than 3 tanks of gas, and a trail of oil all the way there and back.
Turns out the "guy from the other board" is a former (still registered) member on here too, some of the seinor guys will recognise the name...protrucks.
Heluva guy too. He has plenty of projects there to keep him busy, and a fleet that i am quite enviouse of.
The trip went as clost to flawless as i could hope for. The only trouble I had was the end seal on the back of my intake went from a slow leak, to a steady squirt. On the way back, if I went over 55, I would start smoking and killing all the mosquitos....hmmmm, maybe I should charge Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio for servises rendered...
None the less, I limped it home, rear sagging, and kept refilling the oil...6 quarts, and I have not checked it since I got home. Probably 2 or so low.
I don't know why I was wanting a road trip so friken bad, I all but forgot how much that seat hurts my @ss after a few hrs... Oh well.
I guess I gotta pull the intake off after work tomorow...along with a million other things.

I live just over the state line in Ohio now but back in the 60s they had a hard time keeping signs on I-69. I wonder why?
