6 or 7 qts. oil? Sweet deal. Ever wonder how those engine hoist plates never crack off the cast aluminum manifold when you lift the engine?

Is it just me or does anyone else get nervous using the plate on top of the intake to lift the engine? I perfer to go from pass side rear to driver side front using the intake to head bolts.

there was a discussion in a magazine recently, showing the formula to figure out how much an aluminum manifold with 4 - 5/16 bolts could hold..it was over 1000lbs...i was skeptical too, until i saw the numbers
