Front lift shakels
Has anyone used them, my dad has them on his truck and it gave him 3" of lift. But I think they were home made by the previous owner. I only need that much to run my tires until I can afford the springs.

The only experience I have with them, is a guy here at work used lift shackles for his Ram... It rotated the yoke for the front driveshaft too far down, and it hits everytime the driveshaft rotates... I guess just be careful of that if you go this route. He's had them on for 6 months now, and no problems other than that...

Not only does it kill the pinion angle, it also negates the caster and will cause the truck to wander.

if the truck is set up to run longer shackles, its fine. my truck had 7.25" ctr to ctr shackles on it, with no issues, but i was running springs 4-5" longer than stock, and a modified mounting point for the shackles.
