Flywheel Dust Cover Question
Hi - I'm just a rookie at this site (First Post)
I just bought a 69 C10 which originally had a 350 but was swapped to a 305 or possibly a 307. Haven't even had time to confirm. Just noticed the flywheel dust cover is missing. The transmission is a 4 speed manual. My question is: When I am hunting for a new dust cover what do I ask for? Are dust covers pretty standard for manual Chevy transmissions? Help! |

Welcome to the board.
Here is a link to a thread I started a while back. One of the guys answered that it was a clutch inspection cover. Several other guys said their truck were also without. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=149104 As you can see, my clutch inspection cover is mostly there. I even pulled it off the other day to clean it up and to knock some of the dents out of it.
