New To The Group

Hello, My Name is Gabe. I am a first time Chevy owner. I just recieved a 1977 2WD Suburban as a gift from my Dad. I have wanted this truck for about 10+ years. It is the same year I was born. Also, it is the only 1/2 ton truck I have seen with a 454 BB. Im not real sure if I want it "show room" finish or have a more "modern" look. I will try to post a few pics here in the near future. Thanks for your time, Gabe.

Welcome to the board. I am relatively new here as well and have had my suburban for 4 months. As of today the drive train, interior, and new wheels and tires. Got the fever and cant wait to finish it. But do we ever finish?

as the proud owner of a 91 burb with a 454 (all stock), welcome!
these guys seem to have an answer for you no matter what it is so ask away... I've learned alot since joining here as well... the burb is actually my 4th GM vehicle and 3rd GM truck so I've seen the main arenas of what these things hold and can do

In the past 30 years about 90% of Fords are still on the road, the other 10% made it home.
