Hey kobuzz>>>>
I saw your camaro on another post and it looks awesome. I am planning to build myself a camaro and was wondering how much of a headache it was to get the LS1 and six speed in there, because that is precisely what I want to do!

It's a pretty complicated swap. Definately not a bolt in. I had to make motor mounts, transmission crossmember and convert to a hydraulic clutch. I also went with a custom engine harness and computer reprogram. I've done the LS1 swap twice now and would be glad to help in ny way I can. You can E-mail me at kobuzz01@aol.com or post here and I'd be glad to awnser any questions you have. The motor I have has heads and cam work as well as the usual bolt ons and was dynoed at 397 rear wheel hp and with the 6 speed I get about 18 mpg.

That's about what I figured. This project is way on down the road, but thank you very much for the info!
