Air Shocks, Good Deal?
http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...splay/ss-10101
I'm ready to install four new shocks anyway. I was thinking that these would be a nice upgrade. Anybody use anything like this?

Shock mounts are not made to handle a load. I used to work at a suspension shop and saw 100's of ripped out shock mounts because of "coil over shocks" and air shocks. Not a good idea.

My truck has coil overs on it now. Would it really be that much of a difference in adding adjustable ones? I guess I really dont see a difference in regular gas powered shocks and ones that are adjustable. Keep in mind that I'm NOT going to be 4 wheelin or beating the ever living piss out this truck.

Ive heard the same thing. That coilovers cant handle a load but never used them on a truck. Ive had them on a couple sports cars and really liked the improved handleing and the ride but those were sports cars.
