Question Did I do ok?

I just made a trade that has me alittle uncertain.I recived a nice 72 short bed 4x4 about two weeks ago.Painted and lifted It was worth the price.A close friend of mine has been hounding me to trade him for his old chevy since I got the truck so I did.I brought home a 65 corvette stingray coupe yesterday with a DZ-1 302 Chevy small block.I also got the original #'s matching 327 he blew up in 68.do you think I did alright?

I think anytime you trade a pickup for a mid-year 'vette you've done pretty darn well.

Excellent trade. The Corvette has to be worth upper teens in rough condition and mid 20s if a nice driver. Mid to upper 30s restored. I would remove the DZ 302 and sell it for big bucks to a Z28 restorer then put in a Fast Burn 385 GM crate motor. If you want to get more involved with the Corvette check out our Corvette site. Trucks and Corvettes mix well.
