More tilt column troubles
Hi guys. I'm gaining slowly but surely on this column. This spring doesn't seem to be on right. I just figured out the rack preload spring goes in there to. Any suggestions to where I'm going wrong??

Hmm, I don't remember seeing that clip last time I had my column apart...
What year of vehicle? I'm about to pull an 88+ column apart to put a new lock cylinder in it, and as far as I know, they are quite similar to the older columns, so maybe I can take a picture for you...

That spring looks like it holds the part for the key switch buzzer. You cant really see it but its on the bottom of the square looking part. It helps hold that part in by putting tension on it. But it looks like you have the column tore way down passed that.

I'll check the key buzzer switch. I thought it was the rack preload spring. Does the spring that holds the sector in look funky to you guys??
