bumpy rear suspension

ok over the winter l instaled an aditional 2'' lowering blocks on my truck(rear). so all in all ive got 3'' drop springs and 2'' drop blocks 5'' total in rear.So i put a week-end permit on and drove it for first time and nboticed that it it much rugher in the back. I assume that im botoming out. Can i eather cut my bump stop or remoove them all together? I still have the stock pan rod bar.
