Exh. manifold options for '86

This is sort of an offshoot of the ram-horn thread...

My '86 K10 (305) has the upswept exhaust manifolds and they look like they could be pretty restrictive. I'm not interested in ram-horns or headers, but am wondering if it'd be worth it to replace the manifolds with a set of the traditional log manifolds. Granted, this is a stock 305 with 83K showing (probably 183K) so if the current manifolds are OK for its power level I'll just leave them in place. Thoughts?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Reallly you won't see enough of a performance gain to make it worth the hassle of changing to another log style manifold....

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was thinking but I'm one of those people who can't let well enough alone...

I haven't decided if I'm going to keep the truck for a long time (it needs plenty of bodywork) but if that ever happens the 305 will be replaced with a 350 and I'll upgrade the manifolds then. Thanks!
