removing door lock cylinders
I can't seem to get the clip off that holds the door lock cylinders on in my 78 c10. Is there some speacial trick or tool I can get?

I think I just reached in there with a screw driver and pried it off. I had to get the clips out with a magnet after they down in the door..

Get in there with some needle nose pliers and just wiggle them free .
. |

Remember: if it sticks, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

I normally just yank them off with some channel lock plier. If you thing getting them off stinks, wait till you have to put them back on..

i have a really big screwdriver the large one craftsman makes and that always gets the thing loose so it pops out.. then i fish it out of the bottom of the door with one of them four claw grabbers

Well I got them off
And chris- getting them off was 100% HARDER then putting them back on. Took all of 2, maybe 3 seconds
