hey Frank, i'll check when i get home and see, are you sure you want a stock 216k converter though?

Buster, if you still want me to check on shipping, i will. i forgot to get a weight last night so it may not be shippable, but i don't know for sure. also the converter will be extra (maybe $25 or so), let me know what you want to do for sure.

hey Bryan, if Buster doesn't want it. i need to check with Meathead, and then Sinister 72 is after you. they are all local guys. if Buster and Meathead don't want it, it's yours bud.

I've been waiting for your response. I still want it. Please advise shipping costs, arrangements, etc. Also advise how you prefer payment and where payment to be made. Than ks,
Bill

hey Buster, looks like the tranny weighs around a 194(didn't feel that bad when i carried it 30 feet saturday). summit says they have to be truck freighted. i think we're gonna have to try a local pick up or deliver on it.

coalman, it looks like it is too heavy to ship without truck freighting. ups and fedex won't allow it. your truck is gorgeous by the way.

So...what is the status of the tranny? The Mississippi guys (Putter, G-Man & Incoma) are all watching this play out to see who gets it. How about an update already?!?!

I gotta' get pictures of that thing online. I have been driving it for two weeks already. We drove it to Incoma's last night. Doing the "autometer-behind-the-bezel" gauge swap Saturday (Pro-Comp). I got them mounted to the bezel, just not in the truck yet. That thing fired right up and is running some-kinda' fine. Just wish it had a little more 'lump' to it. It runs...well....smooth. So far, I really enjoy it.

it is a damn good engine. i never had an ounce of trouble from it (except the starter) i'm glad to hear ya like it. i was beginning to wonder if you were ever gonna get it in there. i guess it's better to get it done right then half a$$ed. you gotta get some pics up, and i want to see the serpentine set up because i'm thinking of doing it to mine now.
2 ?'s
are you gonna swap a bigger cam maybe?
did you use the edel. carb? i wanted to know if it sat too long or was o.k.

I will most likely go a touch bigger with the cam eventually (kinda tapped right now).
We ordered a rebuild kit from Summit and I had G-Man69 go through it, just for the heck of it. It is working really good...even the electric choke is working. The rebuild kit was cheap enough, so while it was out, that would be one less thing to troubleshoot later. I will get pics up pretty soon. I an gonna take pix of the gauges anyway, so....maybe Monday.

Honestly, I can't tell that there even IS any stall to it. It takes off exactly like other's stock ones. Drop it in gear at idle, and it starts going...at 500 rpm. Nothing like G-Man's and he has a 2200-2300 stall. Not willing right now to pull it out and look for number that I can run to see, so I am just driving it right now....happy to have it going at all.

yeah that stall came out of longhornman's truck. i never got to drive it far "knocking engine" he said it was 2100 so that's not much over stock anyway. it is new though for sure, you can tell that. i'm just glad to hear it's doing good and you're getting use out of it.
