High Hump Transmission Tunnel??
I have some questions about installing a high hump transmission tunnel in a mid 80's 2wd cab.
1. Are the covers all the same for trucks 73-87? 2. Is it really as simple as cutting the floor of a 2wd cab and installing the 4wd cover? I have a high hump cover that is supposed to be a 73-87 pickup cover. It fits good near the firewall, but has a gap between the cover and the floor along the sides and at the rear. This is with the cover sitting on the stock 2wd floor. I looked at some pics on the 67-72 board so I know I don't have a 67-72 part. Can anyone post or send me a pic of a 73-87 cab with the cover installed or of the cover? I am wondering if I have the right part. Thanks. Last edited by beaterC10; 04-09-2005 at 05:48 PM. |
