The one on the 72 is all bent up and was wondering if some of you guys are going a different route?I have a 84 blazer,will the bumper off of it fit?What about the reciever hitch(frame mount)Thanx guys and lets see what you got and how you did it.

I like the look of the stock sport one also, that's what I've got on my stepside.

I really like the look of those but i was hoping to go cheap with one i allready have...lol.Also i will be pulling a car trailer,that was why i was wondering about the hitch.

ECE MAKES A HITCH THAT HANGS DOWN JUST A TOUCH BELOW THIS BUMPER,

ECE also makes one that fits behind the sport bumper. That's the way I will probably be going since I killed my roll pan this weekend.

Boss - I believe the frame rails are the same distance apart and according to the website for Reese hitches, an '84 and a '72 use the same part number hitch so I would assume the one you have will fit. Might have to drill a couple of holes. I have an inexpensive aftermarket step bumper on my '72. If I get a chance, I'll snap a pic today and post.

Edit: remembered I have one already.

Right now I have an old dealer installed one that has the dealer name stamped in it. Mine says JOE'S MOTOR SALES BEEVILLE, TEXAS on it. I had an old wrap-around step bumper but most of it rotted off and I'm in the process of rebuilding it.

Tried to upload a pic but the file size is too big, anybody know how to reduce it?

I do have a steel step bumper for a 67-72 stepside available

chickenwing - It a FEY replacement bumper (one size fits none) and is the cheapest chrome model they offer - all steel, no rub strip or rubber step surface and runs around $180.00 plus mounting kits. I made my own mounts for mine. $180.00 may not be cheap but compared to alot of other step type bumpers available, its reasonable.
