Will a 67-72 cab fit in the bed of a 71 Chevy long wide box??

Just what it says. I will be needing to take my cab across town and I just wanted to see if anyone had done this.

Fits fine but sideways with the wheel tub fitting in the middle of the firewall.

I'm not all that concerned with the '71 that I'll be hauling it in....but I don't want to do any damage to the cab that'll be in the back. Will that be ok?

You can do it in a short wheel base too, but the tail gate will put a small dimple in the upper cab corner.

if you put some padding around the cab where it'll hit the bed, and go easy when dropping it in there, and drive around the potholes, you should be OK...but some small damage will be hard to avoid.
