quick 4x4 question

will a power steering pump and box off a 77 - 79 fit a 67-72 ?

Just check out the rag joint shaft size and splines. I have seen them different sizes, and I guess the threads for the lines. Other than that I think they should work.

i will have to look and see what i got here ,i got 2 of them to sale and didnt know if they would fit a 67-72 truck/blazer/jimmy

Because its 4x4 related. I have been moving 4x4 topics over here for about 3 months now.

No problem. I have been checking out 4x4 threads for a long time and I have noticed that usually the same guys that answer over there will respond here. Bout the only thing I wont move over here is a pic of someones truck. If its an info type thread I will for sure to move it here. That way in the future someone can seach this forum for 4x4 answers and will find it here.

Not sure if you remember but before Josh added this 4x4 forum the main board was totally confusing. You didn't know if someone was talking about a 2 wheel drive truck or a 4x4. There are a lot of differences.

what if they had the pump,lines,box was all togeather like this pic ? would it work then ? or is the steering arm differant ?

I have never compared the two (arms). I don't think theres differences. The pump may mount different also.

When I bought a new steering gear from GM,it was the same for 4wds up to`75,then...?
