If you have a full set, me thinks you ought to hang on to them.
Can you still get tires for that width of rim anymore???

I have a 72 K10 suburban that came with 16" wheels. I have the original 16" spare remaining. The other 4 were changed out to 15" over the years because tires were cheeper. I am keeping a watchfull eye open for 4 more 16's.

My 1972 C-30 came with 16" originally from the factory, not the typical 16.5 rims (yes, on the glove box decal). I've never seen a Blazer with the 16.5 on them. Are the the split rim type?

16.5 wheels
"normal" width rim is 8.25x16.5 to accept a 10.0 x 16.5 tire.

Yeah they`re rare Tommy.Get`em back!I bought a set for my first`72.They were 5 lug 16.5,8.25 on front & 9.75 on rear.This was aftermarket(Kelsey/Hayes)but same OEM.Back then,it was easier to get big 16.5s(more choices).This was the Wide-Oval era when 16.5s were more common(8 lug) and the "tall-skinny"16s weren`t "in".Gates(Commandos/10x15) and Armstrong (Tru-Tracs/11x15)were the big rubber back then.But you could get 12x16.5s.They didn`t start that.5 or/33 stuff till later.
