If you put the 160 stat in,this will trick the ecm into letting a little more fuel in,with the chip it will make a difference. It will give you better milage too because the engine wont work as hard ...Hope this helps,Erick
I had a 91 camaro that i did this too and found out 85 mph on the interstate,it would get 38 miles to the gallon,we left daytona beach,filled up there,made it to the north/south carolina border on 1 tank..19 gallons.in a 305 tuned post with a 5 speed...Too bad the car got wrecked ![]() Last edited by bisquik65; 04-13-2005 at 08:33 AM. |

Thanks for the help. I will pick up a thermostat today. Any Idea where the air intake sensor is?

It is located in one of the air tubes going in the tbi. Just pull it out,run an extendion wire and put it like on the fender ,away from engine heat...It will make a difference.
