Help me out guys...Can anyone transport a truck for me?

Hey guys....

I have a 68 LWB truck that I need to have transported from Charlotte, NC to middle TN.

Does anyone have the ability to do this for a fee?

If I can not get this truck moved ASAP I am going to have to let it go. My old land lord is wanting to give me like 100 bucks for it just so he can junk it. I would have moved it when I moved here to TN a while back but the LWB truck wouldn't fit on the Penske smaller type car trailer.

HELP!

Thanks
CHRIS

Is it driveable at all? I know what you mean about the smaller tow dolleys. I went to Austin last year to get my 68 and rented a u-Haul, only to find it didn't fit. So I ended up buying a used dolley that was big enough.

I am sure it would transport on the dolley but the only thing I would be worried about would be the tires. It has been sitting for about a year or so. The tires worry me...I am sure they would hold air but for the trip from NC to TN I am not sure.

thanks

Wish I could help ya, but you are best with a trailer or rollback! The tow guys here would really want a fortune to go & pick it up, you ought to see about renting a trailer & taking the hike yourself! Nice little parts truck! Damn..wish I had a rollback.........

I have a tow bar that is made just for these trucks. if you have a truck to tow it with i'd let you borrow it. you just remove the front bumper bolts and connect the tow bar, it also has a brake light connector that will go right into the trucks taillights. i have towed a truck 500 miles with it and "Longhornman" used it to tow a truck from TX to OH with it.
like JerseyGirl mentioned, if someone else tows it for ya, they would charge big $$$ to go that far. i would tow it for ya but it would cost around $400 , since my truck only gets around 8mpg while towing.
funny thing is, i have family near Cornelius, NC (bout 10 minutes north of charlotte) and i get that way about 5 times a year. just let me know if you need to borrow the tow bar?
