Very interested in the 350 with OD. I am in Seattle but come to Salem frequently. Do you have a pic of the tranny with od? What is the od ratio? If it is good...I will take it.

me either. sounds like someone replaced an od automatic with a 350th and left the original steer column and/or indicator in it. the truck have an aftermarket od unit? the pic's a 350th though.

Simmmer down now...

As far as I know they never made a Turbo 350 that had overdrive. I would say it being an 86 it probably had a 700r4 from the factory and then someone changed it out for a Turbo 350 (they are cheaper to rebuild) when the 700 went out. This isnt too far fetched...Right?

They never made a th350 with ovedrive as far as I know, but some th350 had the lockup converter that kind of feels like it's shifting into another gear.
The pic is a th350 but it's not big enough to tell if it has the electrical plug on the side. Does it?

i've never rebuilt a 200-4r (closest in size to the 350), so unless they used it's internals somehow in a 350 case...no way. where would the od fit in a case designed to be a 3 speed. impossible.

I was looking for the Gear Vendors OD unit attached to the end of it but there is none. The Chevy dealer says they never made a TH350 with OD so I guess I will have to pass on it.
