That avitar has always caught my eye did they realy race them??
I would love to see some more pic`s of the 70`s trucks going at it

Aussi - they were reskinned Grand National cars, and yes they raced them...but not for very long though.

might want to check out the C.A.R.S. racing series. they race full size production trucks, most are shortbeds. the only other thing i know about the series is a 305ci displacement rule.

there was a guy last season racing at wall stadium, nj with a 70-72 pickup. well at least the truck's skins. not sure what body he has on it this season.

just found a picture of him getting into a dodge.

love the racing, i've only been able to see trucks once and that was in South Dakota... in my current locale, all they have is a 1/8th strip about 35 mins away and a 1/2 oval about 1 1/2hrs away so i dont get a chance to get out there much.

anybody got any links to and truck racing sanctioning bodies or anything related? i cant seem to find any info on them, evidently you guys are.
