Anybody need parts?

I'm pulling my 79 C-10 apart and keeping the motor, tranny and possibly the bed floor and wheel wells. I was wondering if anyone needed any parts.
I already have the front clip apart and most of it is in pretty good condition. Let me know if anybody is interested in parts and I'll see what I can do for price and shipping. I'd rather not ship large parts though. I also have a few parts lying around that I bought for this thing including a driver side floor pan, a very nice pair of dumbo mirrors (I believe they are stainless steel), some gauge parts including a shift indicator, and a grill that is in pretty good shape and another that has a crack in one of the ribs but otherwise in good shape. I also have a fiberglass bed cap that is in decent shape (mostly needs a good cleaning and maybe a new set of rear window hinges. I'll have to look to see what else I may have.

Thanks,
Larry

I don't have many pics but if anybody wants any I could e-mail you what I have.

Is the dash bezel on your truck the same as a 1978 cheyenne? It would have a silver diamond pattern. I need the dash plate above the glovebox for a cheyenne also if they are in good shape. How much shipped to 72315? Thanks.

Sorry guys that I didn't get back to you. For some reason I wasn't being notified through my e-mail that I had responses to this post.

You guys will have to forgive me as I'm not really familiar with the later model chevy. I have two 67's and am a little more familiar with that model.

mingoman: The dash bezel where the factory radio is was cut out for an aftermarket stereo. The truck is a Cheyenne but i'm not sure what the dash plate above the glove box is. If you can send me a pic of the part I will check for it.

rich-white: the innner fenders are scrap. Sorry.

79C10: How does $20 plus shipping sound.

Warrens69GMC: Are you asking for the center-link as well as the front and rear drag link? if so I will probably be pulling the motor and tranny out next weekend and I'll take a look at them to see what kind of shape they are in.

benscool1: I was scrapping the battery box because the bottom tray is rusted through in some spots. Sorry.

nartkers: I believe you and Warrens69GMC are asking for the same part. You are second in line.

Warrens69GMC: Actually I think that the front and rear drag links are only on a 4WD model which I don't have. I could be wrong though. I will still check the center link though.

The center link or drag link is on the front susp. It's the little bar that all the tie rods, idler and pitman arm bolt to. When converting from drum front to disc front, as on our 69gmc, you can just change the ball joints and then bolt on the correct tie rods and drag link. I went down to the local salvage on 04-14-2005 and purchased the center / drag link from a 1978 C-10. For some reason they don't reproduce these.
Now I can tell them I have a 1978 and get balljoints, tie rod ends, and an idler arm.

That's what I figured that it was. You might want to check out the LMC catalogue. They sell the center link for like $100.

Spencra, I don't have a pic of one but it is above the glovebox on the dash pad. It is a plastic panel that should have a small Cheyenne emblem on it. I believe both of the air vents also go through this and it should have a small diamond pattern thats silver.

OK, I just went out there and I see what you are talking about. I have it but mine has a woodgrain pattern to it.
