For all you longhorn fans

Here is my 1 ton dump, She ain't pretty but for the last 18 years or so she has worked her heart out. The dump is out of a 58 international and is welded into the frame. I tried to take some shots of the dump but the thorns had other ideas. I need to go through her again. I smoked the motor two years back towing a farmall H home from the Canadian border.

Thanks for the pics, I think that's a cool looking hood, is it all metal?

Sweet Hood! I like that truck. You should stick more money into it or sell it to me.

That hood was on a blazer that I pulled out of a real mess on a moutain top. The PO came to my house and said if I could get it out I could have it. Thanks Buddy all mine.
It is made of fiberglass. Tomorrow I'll see if I can find a name on it. I would sell the truck but, I've got over $600 in it. Where would I find anyone foolish enough to give me that kinda money.

Don't really know what constitutes a long horn, In fact I just heard the term for the first time a week back. I just know it's a good truck with a nine ft box that never backed down from any challenge I threw it's way.

ok, the longhorn would have an 8 1/2 foot bed, on the same chassis as your one ton.
In all reality, i'm thinking there were less 9 foot step sides built than longhorns anyways.

Although not officially named a "Longhorn"(they were Fleetsdes),it`s ok to think of it as a "Stepside Longhorn".I think that is a Hickey hood.Don`t know of anyone else to make one. They were for better visibility(off-road).That`s a cool 9-footer!More nostalgia here.I think those wheels are Western Bullets.

Thanks , I'm really learning a lot on these boards. The hood has always started conversations. I have to be careful when I open it as I never softened the springs.
