Auto trans question
What is the difference in a short shaft 350,and a 350 from a 75 4x4?Other than the tailshaft cover is gone.Is the shft itself the same legnth?

350 4x4, and 350 2wd trans have a different tailshafts. the 4x4 is shorter and meshes up to the transfer case. all the other parts are the same. to interchange any of the parts between the two will require total disassembly to swap tailshafts
