My '87 had the tan interior. It was black, and I thought it was a nice combination. I think red or dark orange would look good too.

I think most colors will go with a tan interior whether the color is light or dark. As 454HO said, black and red goes well with a tan interior. Same for brown, green, yellow, white and even blue. Pretty much everything. Head down to a dealership and check out the vehicles with tan interiors. It'll give you a good idea.

A burgundy or maroon looks good with tan. My 74 Chevy is actually "vintage maroon", a Ford color.

My '96 has the emerald green exterior with the tan interior. I've had it since new, and I still like it.

I have a white exterior and tan interior. I think grey interior goes with everything best.

I agree with oldRustyC10, Gun Metal Gray will not match well with a tan interior. Unfortunately, gray is one of the few colors that won't work with a tan interior. If you're set on Gun Metal gray, you could always change out the tan interior (more $$).

I may do a color similar to this, maybe a little lighter or darker. Just don't like the single stage on it now.

digital cams change the color slightly that looks more like a bronze or copper metallic than a gun metal grey.. in fact that looks like the same color truck i believe it was heather owned ( god im getting old and i cant remember her screen name here) tan would work well with that color as it is comng across on my monitor and with that camera

A green or a blue metallic is an excellent color for a vehicle with a tan interior.

I think a blue, red, white or even a green would look good!

My 1st vote is for the factory 73-74 'Crimson Red' (see avatar). 2nd would be the 'Med. Bronze' of my 68 beater . . ....

Green Works.

Look for my name over in the pictures forum - I got a tan inside&out 87 and had the outside painted essentially standard chevy dark green - it seems to work.
