electric vacumn pump
I'm in need of an electric vacumn pump. Are there any suppliers, or retrofits available?

Go to www.summitracing.com and search for vacuum pump. They show two models. I would assume Jegs has them, too.

Are you looking for a pump for your brake booster? If so, there was a very good article in High Performance Pontiac last year that has a "How To" on some a GM cars but I don't remember which models. I can pull out the mags this weekend and go through them and then post. I think it was late 80's or early 90's GM X bodies that had vacuum pumps and they gave a complete rundown on how to locate it, test it, strip it, and install it in cars with big cams that need vacuum.

you could always convert to a hydraboost style system... many of the newer trucks are running them now anyways...

If you can find that article I'd be very grateful. Summit stainless steel pump is 259.00. I would prefer a less costly option.
