What does it take to put late model bucket seats in a '72 C-10

I have finished my restoration of a 1972 C-10 short of re-upholstering the bench seat. I am thinking about taking the bench seat out and replacing it with bucket seats and console.
Has anyone done this and can you use late model pickup seats and console to do it without the final result looking like some cobbled up mess?
Suggestions please?

The seats will bolt to the floor really well and sit right. The floor in the center hump area is higher in the 88 and up trucks so the council might have to be raised. overall easily done and going to look excellent!

Thanks for the input. When I get closer to the implementation, I may be back to you for some input on potential gliches.
