Cool gas tank relocation

when i started my project the tank had already been removed and the hole in cab filled so i searched everywhere for a tank to fit without buying a new aftermarket. finally i found a non- fuel injected s-10 blazer wnen mounted in rear spare tire spot sideways it fit. had to make custom brackets and plan on putting a filler hole in the bed. with 20 gallon capacity it works pretty good. just wanted to put this out there and see what some of you guys did, thanks.

Just talked to Mark aka Fuelcellguy...got his address and am sending him the CASH for him to build me a 18 gal aluminum tank. I am very excited about this lastest addition to my 71' C-10!

I would like to see some pics of your tank. I used a tank off a early 70's Luv but had to shorten it top to bottom to get the clearance I wanted but wish now I hadn't shortened it due to the fact it's only 8.5 gallons. I have to fill up every three days driving it 36 miles round trip to work. I put my filler neck behind the left rear side marker.
