If your engine and tranny are installed in teh proper location on the frame, the drive shaft will need to be 4 foot 10 inches....first gen Camaro/fire bird (F body) had the same, and that would make me wonder about the 78 - 72 ( I think I got the years right) Nova and clones (X body) since the under pinnings were pretty much the same.
