Sold the Blazer, thanks Steve!

I'm gonna miss her... sniff

On the bright side it went to a good home in sunny southern cal.

Next life: Baja Chase truck

I wish them well. Here's a pic the new owner, Steve, sent from the trip home with Mt. Shasta in the background. Damn it looks good- and I love the scenery.

Hey I remember Mt. Shasta being bigger than that red X?

Darn the red X... O.K. I think it's fixed.

Thanks Kurt and Luv, I'll be around. This won't be my last project.

Ok, that's the Mt. Shasta I remember, thanks. Sorry for your loss, all you can do is make sure they go to a good home.

Thumbs up

Thank you Nate.
The more I look at her, the more I like. Its a real nice, solid Blazer. I got my Cali plates today, so its official. I've been meaning to post some pics, but I've been pretty busy.
This weekend we're going out for our first desert camping / chase mission allready. Its a MDR race in El Centro Ca. It should be fun, and I'll take some pics to post here too.
Thanks again, I'll try to treat her good ( in a dirty way) and keep in touch.
Heres a pic from the 1200 mi. trip from N.Wa. to So.Cal. Its a little town off the I-5 , I just had to stop, for uuhhh... gas.

Later, Steve N

Great picture! It's not hard to believe you had to stop for gas... but pit stops are nice for all kinds of refueling, especially in Weed, Ca.

Hey good luck in the Desert, wish I could be there. I know they could use an extra driver
It will be fun to see what parts/accessories trickle down from the racers to your blazer

Ha, ha well there's some truth in that... I never had any pictures to post that I liked. It took selling it for me to take pictures of it And some very nice shots from the new owner too. I hope to see some shots of it bombing down through Baja!

Thanks Frenchblue for the compliment I had a blast with it. But then you know that first hand

Well put 500 more miles on her this past weekend, going to camp/chase for my friends car, and all went fine.
The race car on the other hand , not so good. We broke off a rear wheel on the sixth out of seven laps, and were in 1st place in class till then.

No pics of Baja yet, but heres a nice sunset in the desert, near Plastertown Ca. ( right near the Mex. border)
Later, Steve N

Thanks, my photoshop tweeking is really coming along, I just discovered adjustment layers. The Blazer was just a silouette without the tweeking.

almost looks like a 70's sales ad!

All that's missing is a chick in bell bottom jeans and a tube top and a guy in a butterfly collered shirt, brown corduroy pants and a beatnick hat on.
