My brother in law has a set on his camaro. He hates them. They probably flow good enough, but they were ordered specifically for his car and they still didn't fit well. He had to take a hammer to one of them and put a dimple in it so it would have enough clearance. The white looking "coating" that they came with (not ceramic) peeled off the first day we cranked the new engine up. He was sick. He had his exhaust custom bent to fit them too. He's thinking about taking them off and getting them jet coated now. He's scared to try another brand because of the exhaust fitting problems he may run into. Just my experiences with them. ......Jerry

I ran a set for 5 years on a sb 350 in a grand prix with no problems. My advise would be to weld the collector flange (where the bolts go through) to the header so it doesen't warp or you can spot weld between the bolt holes about an inch or so. Use copper collector gaskets.

I put a set on my truck and they didn't look as bad as I expected for the money, as for leaks , can't say. I only have about 30 blocks worth of travel on it so far.

the fact that they hang low could be an issue for me because of my 2" drop in the front i'll have to find out how low they hang.

I've got flowtech on my truck as well. I have a 2.5" drop in the front and just finished putting the air ride in the rear. The roll pan sits about 8 inches from the ground and I have no problem with mine yet. When I put Air Ride on the front however I'm know I'm going to need a set of Mid-length headers So if your planning on going any lower, That is something to consider first.

I have them on my 4x4 and they aren't the highest quility. I had to weld the flange on one of them because of a pin hole leak that I thought was caused by a gasket leak changed the gasket and it still leaked pulled the header and held it up to light and sure enough it had a hole. The paint sucks its more like primer and it flakes off fast, I will never buy another Flow-tech product you truely do get what you pay for these only cost me $70

I've been running the same set of flotech headers for eight years. Still going strong. I'd buy another set. Good value for the money. I have a 2/4 drop, and clearance is not a problem..
