Question replace or rebuild TH350?

i'd like to rebuild it cause i could do it up with heavy duty clutches etc. and the core i got is in good/excellent condition, it's just starting to show it's age, (starting to slip in reverse a bit)...
just a little weary of doing it myself cause i'm getting lazy in my old age
and i'm therefore tempted to just swap it out with a rebuilt unit...
decisions, decisions...

What do you get when you trade it out? Some were out of 6 bangers or out of old lady big cars with all the wavy steals in them to soften the shift. Do it do it right and have a great transmission compaired to just a good trans. You don't have to do it yourself but have someone who does know the tricks to make it shift well. In less you want a little old lady car. Joker69
