Thanks for all the support.

I really do like the rallys. I am kinda stuck between the ralys the American Racing TT2's in 17's but for now the I can smoke the rubber right off the rallys and buy 2 new tires for the price of one 17". Rallys will ayays look good on these trucks.

I am too nice of a guy to kick the sh*t out of someone. I just think about doing it after they leave. I am ready now if anyone else talks **** about my truck get the F*ck out of my shop.

Thanks for letting me vent.

another thing that pisses me off is when you ask if someone has a certain part and they tell you....you dont need that....you need this....or it's not worth doing or some **** like that....i have been noticing that a lot lately even on this board....there was a thread here where a guy asked something about a rearend part he needed and some dood was like...oh dont worry about that it's junk....it's like did i ask for your #%$#in opinion? no i asked for a specific part....and like my buddy asked a junkyard about 4.10 rears for his truck...and gets you dont need 4.10s you need 3.73s.....

Hmm... seems like an all knowing automotive style god like himself should have his own drill. Probably doesn't even have a toolbox to put it in anyways.

My personal opinion on rally's is that they are a timeless classic, both the car and the truck style. When my truck is roadworthy again, it will have 8" rallys with 275's which I have had forever. The Torq Thrusts look great, but it's hard to justify the price.

I think the worst look I've seen on a 67-72 was a set of 22's on Super Swampers on a lifted 71 or 72 Blazer. Just because it "blings", doesn't mean it's right.

When someone tells me something about my truck like that I just say well personally I like it and that is all that matters. If I wanted your oppinion then I would tell it to you! BTW I love Rally's on our trucks and I am thinking about trading my rims for some nice Rally's soon.

Dude

It took me almost a YEAR to find a decent set of 8" ralleys for my shorty!! This guy would no longer be welcome in my garage. Tell him in no uncertain terms that you LOVE those wheels and they are HARD to find and he can get his own damned truck to put some 8 spoke white wagon wheels on, 'kay? Now get the hell outa my shop.
SHEESH. I'm with you man. Rant mode off. H.

when I first got the delta, it had some nice surface rust going on it. Well, one spring break (a week), I pulled it into the garage, stripped it, beat out the dents as best I could, bondoed over what was left, then shot paint on it. It took me all of that week (I had literally 5 hours to spare), and wasn't too bad for a quicky job where I just wanted to get rid of the rust and make it look semi-presentable.

well, this a$$hole comes into my dad's store not long after I bought the 67. I had it sitting outside. He said "is that your truck?"

"yeah"

"you gonna restore it?"

"yeah"

"man, I can't wait to see what you do to that. You reallly butchered your olds."

And I'm thinking "go to hell a$$. You try doing bodywork in a week when it's 40* outside at best.

Notice under my user name, "Ban Cliff Claven". The meaning of that to me refers to the gawkers on cruise or gathering night. Most are good, but then you get the one jerk that has the potential of really getting you going by his slanderous attack of random vehicles.
In dealing with this first ask "sir what do you ride in?". Even if he says a '67 vette tell him to get in it, drive away because his next ride is soon to be an ambulance.......Ban Cliff Claven.
