whats this front axle ?
whats this front axle ? i have never seen one that the chunk in in the middle ? i seen this pic at ck5 hope i dont getin trouble for the pic

that belongs to K5MONSTERCHEV over on CK5, he had a custom made 14 bolt center section/dana 60 end forgings/knuckles, front axle made. as far as I know it doesn't have axleshafts, its pretty much a posermobile. I do give it points for originality, tho.

im still not real sure why you would want to take something known to be a trail grader when drug the way it was intended, and turn it around and drag it backwards. should be damn near bulletproof though. originality is cool, especially when beef comes with it.

it just sturk me as odd that the chunk is in the middle hows the drive shaft goina work on it ? if he is running a chevy tranfer wount that be a problem or any transfer for that matter

Good point, if you look at the larger rear ends(14bolt, eaton, rear 60) the center section is actually offset slightly so the driveshaft comes in the center, so mounting the 14 b center section in the center actually offsets the driveshaft slightly.

Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm |

Search on CK5, I remember reading about it. Not that I really understand why, but you will find info there.
