American Racing 15x10
I seem to be having a problem sizing wheels. I have the oppritunity to buy 5 Tailgunners 15x10 for 180 bucks. I asked the salesman if that would work on my 87 Blazer and he said that they wouldn't and that they would rub against the caliper. American Racing reccomends a 7 inch rim. Problem is I have 35 inch tires. And a 7 inch rim isn't kosher running 35's....NOW WHAT??? Is there any way that they would work? I just don't wasnt to pass up this good deal; but if I have to I guess I have to. I would appreciate anyones input/comments/suggesations on this matter. If it helps the tires are 35x12.50/15 yadda yadda yadda.

What is the back spacing on the rim. The width only matters if the backspacing is more that 4 1/2 ". The fender clearance will be your next problem with a wide rim.

can you borrow one and see if they fit first? I don't recall 15x10's rubbing on anything, but I guess it would depend on the backspacing. How big of a lift are you running?

I have a 4" lift with 35 Cooper Discoverers on it now and have no rubbing at all. The Backspacing on the wheels. The backside of these wheels is 4 and the "offset" is -38. What the heck is offset?? Thanks again for all your input.

I've got American Racing type 39's 15x 10's 295/50/15's all around with no problem on my 86 stepper 2wd...sticky wheel weights will get knocked off by the caliper on the fronts wheels if installed.

I never thought of the weights getting thrown off by the caliper. That's a good point. I guess I'll just have to get the weights on the outside then. BTW nice truck!!
