Hey Randy, Trevor, What are the days and hours the swap meet is running? Where is it in Lawrence? Not at all familiar with the town, is it easy to find? Have not heard much about it locally. Is it Friday and Saturday only? Can't make it Friday but may have a chance to work it out Saturday. I'm like a kid in a candy shop at a swap meet. May find some things for my Chevelle, never know until you look.

Blazerman, Thanks for the info and the super detailed instructions for finding the swap meet area. Not sure it will happen but right now I have it "penciled" in to make it. Hope to see some members there.

Guys I'll be in the SE corner, 3rd row from the south, as far east as you can get almost. If you come in the east gate take a left and you'll find me.

swap

that's a good one. I got some things there a few years ago. If I wasn't busy this weekend I'd go for sure.

Hey Randy, Seen you were on the board. Do you happen to know if LMC parts will have a booth or parts area at this swap meet? Still not sure if I will be able to make it, won't know until tomorrow for certain. If I do go I will be sure and look for ya'.

Ironhorse, I have been every year to lawerence for about 5 years, I have never seen lmc there at the show. Ron Mane's is there like he is in witchita and seems like one more has some truck parts as well like Classic Chevrolet or something out of oklahoma. Randy tends to have good original stuff most of the time if you get to him early enough at the meets. Hope that helps ... Trevor

Thanks for the quick input there Trevor. I was hoping LMC would be there, I would like to see "up close and personal" the diamond tread bedrail caps they sell. Seems as if LMC has a "lock" on those, can't find them locally at all. Really not very anxious to order them, find out that they're not what I wanted and then have to deal with the hassle of returning them. Want to put a set on my '71 4x4 LWB to match the tailgate cap I have.

I know it is a little bit more to drive ... but LMC is located in olathe. That's only around 20 min. of driving. You could probably call them and find out if they have them in stock to come by and take a look.

Trevor, Thanks for the info on LMC. Any idea what their hours of operation are Sat? Are they open Sunday? Looking more like I may be able to make it after all. Still won't know until Friday afternoon for sure.
