Does Anyone Know??
I am driving my 87 4x2 Burb (350 with 700R4 -- 125,000 miles) home from the mall and at about 50MPH I get a serious vibration. My tires are as hard as a rock and it is smooth as glass berore 50 MPH..The belt is off my a/c so it cant be the compressor.. Does anyone have any idea what it might be? trans??, U-joint?? HELP !!!!!!!!!

i get a slight sluggishness and vibration around 50-57mph on my 91... i am having someone look at it shortly and will let you know if it may be related...
usually in that case i have heard it is a bad spot in a U-Joint or rearend (gears)

sounds like a driveline vibration... did you put in a lift or anything? If not, then replace ujoints...

Thanks for the help guys. I am kinda thinking its either the u joints or steady bearing as I havent done anything to the suspension.
