Cab Floor

I have an 85 that might have a decent floor. I have not looked at it closely, will do that tomorrow. From exactly where to where do you want for your project, so that I don't miss your needs or overlook a problem area.

What i need is actually the entire floor, but more specifically from the base of the fire wall back the back of the cab along the sides of the rockers, I just don't want to do a cab swap, but there are places that the rust has taken over, where in Pgh, pa are you, I work in sewickly?

Cab Floor

I live on the East side, Penn Hills, the cab is about 22 miles east in Saltsburg. I did not get to inspect it yet. The cab was wrecked, on the drivers side door so you would not want to attempt a cab swap. I'll post the results when I inspect. I'll try to get a pic or two.

Cab Floor

Did not get there today, but was advised the cab was decent before it got hit in left front. The rockers and cab corners were in need of redo, but the floor and firewall had no issues. Hope to get a pic tomorrow so you can decide. Expect to do some clean up at the shop so numerous pieces will be prepared for the recycle routine. The price of scrap steel continues to rise.

Floor - pics on the way

We cut up the cab today. I told Rich if it was not rusted to save the floor. The cab floor had little to no rust, but ... it had been hit on the left side and the rocker and cab corner were pushed in toward the floor. The rolled up area under the seat on the drivers side has some damage, but Rich who is more experienced than I, says if the rocker was pulled, the pan damage will come out easily. They cut the floor high on the front kick panels, and left the cab corners and some rear panel intact.

I will download the pics to my pic site and then post here shortly.

Drivers side note the roll on the floor under the seat.

Hopefully these will give you a fair picture. Let me know what your plans are or are not.

The scrap yard beckons. Need to know before the weekend your interest in the floor.

Thanks for a reply

if you don't want alot for it, it may make patching a lot easier for me rather that using the entire floor, as my driver side is the worst side, where yours is wrecked, what do you want for it?

Floor

How's $20? I am out through Friday for a work assignment, we could arrange how to meet after that. You work near Sewickly, I could try to meet you or drop it off next week. Or you could consider next weekend. The floor is still at the shop, I will bring it to the house after my trip. Let me know your thoughts and plans. I may be a little slow on email until Friday.
