The test version of the operating system to replace Windows XP is Code named (called) Longhorn. It will change names before it goes public, just like its predecessors.

Unfortunately, it's named after the moutain "Longhorn". Microsoft names all of their beta products after mountains. Example: Windows XP was "Codname: Whistler" after the mounain in BC, Canada.

The Evil Empire purchase your domain name ? Hell, when they find out that you are the owner of the longhorn domain (in any kind of resemblence) they'll probably bring an injunction against you and a court order to stop using your domain for infringing on their Longhorn name and then you will have to give up the domain name and pay them damages! Screw Microsnot.

Don't forget they (Microsnot) put the screws to "Lindows" (a Linux Desktop system) and they lost in the U.S. Courts (Europe courts didn't rule in favor of the big bully) so they were forced to changed the name to "Linspire" (consumers might get 'confused').

Wonder if Pella Windows and Anderson Windows can harass MS about infringing on their "Windows".
