some progress on my 76
this is what i started with
since i got it i've fixed all the frozen linkages and broken pump bracket, now it dumps. i also sanded and painted the bed black and built a new tailgate, and i made/stained/varnished new wood sides for it. i'll get some pics of the gate i built when i get it painted and put on. right now its waiting for the gate because the bed is full of scrap aluminum that needs to go in for recycling. here's where i am now i also managed to clean all the mouse feces out of the cab so i don't contract the haunta virus while driving. Looks better, good job.
Do you plan on painting the cab at all?

i'm going to replace the cab and paint it off, separately. the cab looks ok outside but unfortunately the floors are terrible. i got a good cab that just needs one corner and has nice floors and rockers. i dont know what color i will go with but i think red is growing on me.

I agree, the red does look good with the bed black. Nice truck, makes me wanna go work outside, or hook chains to something and be a little destructive
