FS 71-72 spindles
I have two sets. First is 2 bare spindles. I would like $30 for them.
The other set is complete with spindles, rotors, bearings and calipers. I would like $60 for these. They have been sitting for awhile and do have some surface rust on them. If you need pics I will try and get them soon. Shipping would suck on these so local pick-up would be best. Thanks

The set with all the parts, Would I be able to buy a set of drop spindles for my 1968 panel and use the parts from these? Do you think they would fit the spindles GMC Paul Or Early classic sells for a 68 c10? Are they off a 1/2 ton 69.

I believe you can use the parts. I bought dropped spindles from ECE and they use stock replacement rotors and calipers. But call them and make sure! They are open till noon on Saturday.

Are they off a 1/2 ton. I will first thing tomarrow. Im tryin to get it low without spending to much. The cost of all the parts you need for drop spindles is all that has been keeping me from buying them. I would still need prop valve and power master too ? Right? It will be untill next weekend before I could come down and get them so I will gather info and money and let you know by next week, If you dont mind waiting for me.

Yes they are off a half ton. You will need proportioning valve, the power brake unit is optional. Mine already had power brakes but you dont have to run them power.

The power units should be the same. Thats what I used. You will need a proportioning valve from a disc/drum setup. I dont know if anyone will work, but I am sure guys on here can tell you.

Reading your earlier posts over let me make this clear so you know what I have. It is front spindles from a 71-72 1/2 ton. They are complete with what you need to change over to disc on a 67-70 1/2 ton. They come with spindles, rotors, calipers, bearings, tie rods. They are all together. If you wanted to put disc brakes on your truck this is all you need except the proportioning valve. (also if you wanted power brakes and do not have them now, you would need to get the power brake unit also).
I was going to use all this on my 70 but bought the complete setup with dropped spindles from ECE. Hope this makes it clearer.

If Marios68Panel does not get them, I would like to buy the set with the spindles, rotors, bearings and calipers for $60.00.
I have a 1970 c10 longbed, and from reading the posts, it sounds like it will work just fine. Thanks, Mike |

One question I forgot to ask...
Are they five or six lug? If they are six lug I would like to get them. If possible, I would like to pick them up today, Sunday 5/15. I'm new on this board so let me know what we need to do to. Thanks, Mike |
