I know I'm not the only one to put an Olds engine in the truck. Those of us that did it are the crazy ones....LOL

I may be the only person that's about to drop a 440 Magnum in one, this is actually the first time I've made mention of it here. I'm still working out some details.

I had a 455/400 combo from a 74 delta 88 in a 67 shortstep. I built the truck in '83, and regretably sold it in '87. It was ten years before I had another one..
Randy your ram horns are showing

Yep, 440 Mopar. The guy that built the 6:71 blown 350 in my Model A is a pro at building 440's. He just finished one that puts out close to 500 horses! It's in a 73 Road Runner (not my favorite year to say the least) but it's bad!!

BTW, the 350 Olds in my 71 Cutlass I used to have, I couldn't kill if I wanted too. I sold it with 225000 on the motor and it still had 50 lbs of oil pressure and still would catch 2nd gear all day long with a turbo 350 and 2 something gears. Also it didn't smoke at all, and as far as I know is still running today, too bad I coudn't say the same for the body being in as good shape.

Try a Cadillac -You won't miss the Olds. Not slamming Olds though, have had a couple.

Have Done Many (not 67-72)
In my complex I have: '76 C-20/350 Olds, '70 Chevelle/W-31 powered/W-27 rear, '70 El Camino/260 Olds V-8, and '88 Pontiac Safari/350 Olds. Most of them have BBCs slated to replace the Olds motors since I have passed up that phase of my life. It was fun while it lasted. Hot Rod
