Home safe and sound...............

Just made it home last night around midnight with MIDSTATE 67-72's new Blazer project.
The trip went well and the old 'Burb never missed a beat.
Had a great time meeting and talking with board member DTLilly! Great guy!

Not sure what his plans are as of yet. Maybe locate a nice tub and restore this one, or pirate all the options to build a completely different one. Time will tell.

Hardrock2, I'm glad to hear you made it home safe! I was great meeting another board member and talking trucks!

We sure had some problems getting her loaded up, between the carb flooding out, the timing/points being out of wack and your winch acting up. Just to let everyone in a little secret... a snow plow was used to push it up on the trailer

I only got 2 pictures, since I some how switched the camera settings to MPEG movies

First picture is Hardrock driving the Blazer. He shows up to northern Wisconsin in a tank top and we only had highs around 50F

Second is adding a secret southern cocktail of 87 octaine to get her running, (might be a reason the carb messed up)

I'm sure MidState will make good use out of her either as a restoration or parts vehicle. I'm sorry to see her go, especially now that I got a big promotion at work.

Heh, Heh,
Yeah, it did get a tad chilly north of I-80!
It was in the 70's here when we left.
After suffering the long Illinois winter, I must have figured when it's finally spring here, IT MUST BE spring everywhere!! LOL!

Congrat on that promotion! Should work out nice.

Mike
