What is it???

Hey all,
Just dragged this in.
I was looking for a 133" WB tonner for a donor frame, and this one begged me to take it home.
First, I thought it was a regular old cab and chassis model, but after I got to looking it over, it appears to have originally been factory equipped with a pickup bed.

It's a 1968 C-30 with V-8 and 4-speed, HO72 rear, 133" WB, and was originally setup as a single wheel one ton. 10,000 LB. GVW.
The option sticker is gone, so I have no idea what bed was on it, but the stands (perches) are there for a bed.

Longhorn???.......9 foot stepside??
The VIN starts CE348S, but the cowl is chalk marked CE31004.

Anyone have a clue before I light the torch?

Mike

C. 2 wheel drive
E. 2 wheel drive
3. one ton.
10. 133 inch wheel base (I think that's what that is...but I may be wrong)
04. stepside bed.

I think 23xx or so were made...can't quite make out my notes, I'll try to remmber to look it up tomorow if you are still interested.

Hi Andy!
I figured you would know if anyone would.
I remembered from your website.......210= 3/4ton Longhorn.........???=1 ton Longhorn.
Now I got it!.......310=1 ton 133"WB.
The 04 makes it a non-Longhorn, but still not many 9' stepsides built, huh.
Just kinda wanted to know for sure what I was getting the frame from for future reference.

Thanks,
Mike
