WTB: 6x9 speaker brackets

My son needs a set of the 6x9 speaker brackets for the rear of his 85 k10 to replace the 4x10's. Anybody got a set? Can paypal, shipping to 29730. Thanks

swap the 4x10 brackets side for side (driver to passenger, passenger to driver) and you can easily modify them to fit.

do you have the stock 4x10 brackets? if so swap sides, and cut the holes a little bigger. 6x9s will fit.

Thanks 1faastc10, but I would prefer to try to find the bigger brackets first.

I'v never seen any purposely made for 6x9s, doubt you'll find them.

They used to be made. I had a set in my 85'. However, that was back in about 87'. I haven't seen them in years.

I posted this same request about a month ago and haven't had any luck finding them.

The company that used to make them was named "AMPERSAND", but I dont think they are in business any more. I looked for some for quite a while on the net but couldnt find any. I would like to get my hands on a set for a little while, I work at a factory that has 3 laser tables & could do a setup run & make a bunch of sets to sell. If you find any and are willing to send them to me for a short time I would be glad to give you a set of new ones for the favor...corn
