Lokar & Bucket Seats Combo

I was at the show in Pigeon Forge yesterday looking to see if anyone had bucket seats and a floor shift automatic, but didn't see anyone. I got a set of bucket seats, (the ones that Longhorn Man linked to on ebay) I really want to move the shifter to the floor and the Lokar 23 in looks the best to me. But I only saw one truck with it and it was parked outside the show, with a bench seat. Any pics of buckets with a floor shift automatic (preferably lokar, but any floor shift pics are nice), or reasons why I'm not seeing that combination to often. Tim Christian suggested that I go by the F-100 show because they tend to have a few more street rod types and I could see a few up close there. Thanks for any help. This is the truck I'm in the middle of putting the buckets into.

I found a set of buckets this weekend also. I will be putting them in a manual floor shift. The seats may not see the truck for quite some time because I am just getting started on it.

I wound also like to see interior shots of bucket seat trucks.

Well... this one is in a Blazer... and I don't have the buckets in it yet, but here's a few pictures of a Lokar shifter install. IMO, the 23" will be a real ape hanger (but that might be what you're looking for.. rat rod style!) The one I installed is 16".

I wanted the shifter to look as stock as possible, so I mounted the shifter in the forward-most position which lined up pretty much with where the stock four speed manual shifter position would be. I should note though that it's mounted on a 700R4 with the engine moved forward 1 3/4".

You might not think of it until you get there, but when you move your shifter to the floor, you'll have to deal with the neutral safety switch and backup lights. Lokar and others make shift and relays controllers for this purpose.

I used the Lokar controller shift controller and mounted the relays for the neutral safety and backup lights behind the instrument cluster. The shift controller has a fairly thick loom with about ten wires that can be attached to an LED style PRNDL indicator.

Here are a few pictures of the shifter, controller and relays...

Nice looking Blazer interior, thanks for the pics. I do think I would like the way the 23 in shifter looks, but I also found this one at bowtie overdrives

It is a lot cheaper than a lokar, but doesn't that "rod" look to it.
